Music for Mental Health (M4MH)
Overview
Music for Mental Health (M4MH) is an annual community event focused on raising awareness and supporting mental health initiatives. I created the full event branding and marketing package, including posters, tickets, programs, social media graphics, and print-ready files.
The Challenge
The event needed a visual identity that felt hopeful, approachable, and trustworthy, while still being bold enough to stand out in the community. The branding had to work across both print and digital platforms.
Goals
Create a main event poster that is eye-catching and easy to understand
Build a full set of matching materials for print and online promotion
Keep colors, fonts, and style consistent across all pieces
Make the event feel professional, credible, and welcoming
Support mental health awareness with respectful, positive visuals
My Process
Researched mental health awareness events and concert poster styles
Chose a color palette that feels uplifting but not overwhelming
Designed multiple poster layout options and refined the strongest concept
Applied the chosen style to tickets, programs, and social visuals
Prepared multiple sizes and formats for print shops and social platforms
Ensured all files were clean, high-resolution, and ready for production
Deliverables
Main event poster (final design)
Alternate sizes/versions if needed
Event tickets
Event program or schedule layout
Social media graphics (e.g., square, story, banner formats)
Web/social ads or promotional images
Print-ready files (PDFs or high-res exports)
Outcome
The final event branding gives Music for Mental Health a clear, recognizable look that can be reused each year and adapted for future events. The visuals help the event feel organized, professional, and emotionally supportive, encouraging more people to attend and engage.
